    If a company sells a product, the FTC requires the company’s claims about the product must be true. This is not a violation of free speech.

    Why do we not have similar laws about social media’s claims about politics?

Revisionism, when properly done and cited, and based entirely on facts, can help correct years of misinformation, but when done for the express purpose of misinformation? Fuck that shit right the hell outta here. Especially when the publisher is suspect.
