Pablo Escobar was a terrorist and child abuser yet his face (the actor playing him) was plastered all over London Underground for months when Narcos was out. People love him…..
For clarification, he blew up an airplane in mid air killing all on board in an attempt to kill a presidential candidate and he met his wife at 12 when he was 23.
“Joe” is written and acted to be *likeable*
While he’s killed innocent people, he also killed an abusive (step)dad and an ex-bf that was threatening the ex-gf and her daughter.
There is no harm in liking *fictional* killers like joe, hannibal lecter, the punisher, freddy kreuger etc.
But netflix (and other producers) are glamorizing **REAL** serial killers and that IS messed up.
