Love this. All politicians should have to live for a year on the lowest level of benefits and be denied any help from friends or relatives and it would change things
I like the “walk a mile in my shoes” mentality behind this but i think it says a lot that a low paying job people do for a living is being seen and used as punishment.
yo mama job so bad, people get sentenced to do it!
I don’t know. Who would want to work with or supervise this woman when she is only there so she doesn’t have to be in jail.
There is a reason courts don’t usually rely on punishment like this, because now they have to be part of the monitoring to make sure this woman performs her punishment appropriately.
I hope she performs the work in the manner everyone intends, but I would be surprised if we don’t hear about this again.

Who would want to hire her if this is how she reacts?

I just hope there are stipulations such as the manager needs to sign that she actually put effort into the job at the end of each shift.
If she shows up for 20 hours a week and is a terrible employee, that’s just punishing her coworkers.
