scaliwag77: You should probably post the context to that:
*Adult nightclubs have solicited prostitution, offered sexual stimulation and sexual conduct to patrons for the purchase or alcoholic drinks for exorbitant prices. The patron, being defrauded and swindled as the drinks are actually nonalcoholic and the patron is threatened, coerced or forced from the premises without a refund of the admission or drink price, or fee charged for services promised but not performed;*
So basically the intent is to protect the people who get kicked out because they refuse to pay $30 (or any other ridiculous amount) for a drink that isn’t even alcoholic to begin with – since it’s not legal for them to sell them – and then end up getting kicked out because of it.
Lennysrevenge: Good luck with that.
plasticnek: Yeah, as your lawyer, I would advise against that.
ddpotanks: Its a trap. You need to be able to pronounce “reimburse” when you exit, to qualify.
OK_Compooper: You should also know that you’re going to get charged more for entry if you get dropped off by a cab or some limo that the hotel valets got for you. At least so I’ve heard…
hey_sergio: How many of these clubs are within the territorial limits of Las Vegas Proper? From what I remember, most of the strip is technically in a municipality called “Paradise” or something like that
bravobracus: So basically grab some titties at the end of the night and get your money back
qcubed3: I got kicked out once. I think some places call it “closing time”. Can I get my money back?
Borsao66: You’ll need that cash for bail money.
Psyboy14: Too bad very few of the “Las Vegas” casinos are actually in Las Vegas
