Did Texas put a bounty on teachers because this is something I would totally expect from them!!!

How much recent violence have we seen between students teachers in the last few years ? But yeah… more guns

  3. Still10Fingers10Toes says

Because more guns is the solution, in Bizzaro World.

  4. SoulRebel726 says

With over 170 mass shootings so far this year, in a country that already has more guns than people, it blows my mind that anybody can actually think the solution is “more guns!”

How does that logic make any sense?

so these sentinels gonna do a better job that 300+ armored, armed, and fully trained law enforcement professionals couldn’t deal with as a group for over an hour???

  6. SixIsNotANumber says

I’ve read enough X-Men to know that it’s *never* good when Sentinels show up at a school…

  7. No_Usual_2251 says

Let’s give hand guns to people to stop crazy people in bullet proof outfits and AR-15s.

btw, check this out, proving why this idea is so stupid.

We are going to see these “sentinels” mishandle guns or worse shoot unarmed students because they “felt” threatened. And it will happen even more than school shootings.

The USA way. Mutually assured destruction “worked” during the cold War so let’s try it in our schools. More guns, then bigger guns.

  9. Quinn_tEskimo says

$25k to volunteer to be the first victim.

  10. Jthundercleese says

“Texas state Rep. James Talarico, a Democrat and former teacher who voted against Tuesday’s proposal, said he worried the bill would create an incentive for teachers struggling financially to start carrying weapons.

“Even teachers who don’t want to carry guns may feel like they are financially pressured to do so just so they can provide for their families,” Talarico said.”

Any teacher would be stupid not to figure a way to qualify. With how teachers are paid, that’s a massive step up. It requires training in “identifying mental health disorders” and the gun safety training. You could literally just cary a fake gun, one not loaded, or just pretend to have one for an extra $140 every day you work.

My country is fucking insane. Under pay teachers and incentivise them to cary guns to schools, in order to protect kids from the flood of guns they claim don’t kill people.

    HALT! PRESENT HALL PASS!

  12. dumptrucksrock says

Man that’s *really* shitty pay for a job that’s guaranteed to get you killed.

  13. Ok_Vermicelli_7380 says

If history is any indication, these armed teachers are more likely to be fragged by cops.

  14. Kokamocha says

    What a pathetic state.

Until one of the “sentinels” goes on a shooting spree
