Wheel of Fortune is terminated in the episode after a contestant yells the n-word, prompting a moment of silence, according to Dopke.
I’ll admit that I haven’t watched the episode in a while, but I don’t remember it having anything to do with wheel of fortune being cancelled. In light of this and the numerous allusions to cancel culture, it appears to me that the teacher is attempting to turn the episode’s plot into a justification for his own behavior.
This guy has the voice of an edgelord who recently rewatched the episode and was waiting to shock his students with it. Why would a 16-year-old reference be relevant to his students?
What a moron you are. Furthermore, I wouldn’t say that the issue is one of cancel culture but rather that white people are unaware of the impact the word has. Stan learns a significant revelation about that at the end of the episode. Additionally, the “n word guys” succeeded in getting the term banned by Congress.

“Oh no, I’ve been fired!” says the teacher who believed it was appropriate to make a racial slur joke in class.
