It’s fucked up. When my grandma died recently, she was 97. She had a pension of her own and from my grandpa, sold a big house, and had social security and some navy benefits. She was not rich but decently well off for sure. Anyway, her last few years ate up hundreds of thousands to the point that my dad and his brother both had to take out loans and delay retirement so they could pay for her care. The greedy parasites took all of two pensions, social security, navy pension benefits and more from two 401ks and hundreds of thousands from the sale of a house. This country is a garbage dump and everyone should be ashamed.

In California, I found out that if you plan on a burial, you should purchase your plot at least a few months in advance. They charge an extra 2 to 3k on top of the sale of the plot because it is a rushed purchase or something. Also the price of burial plots are just going up…

I meant my remains scattered in the playground I have found memories of, where I used to play as a child. And I don’t want to be cremated.
