Lots of people hide in closets. Typically from someone hunting them down to commit a crime against them when they are doing nothing wrong (at least that’s what I see in all the movies).
Maybe that’s why they were hiding. From people like her. I hope she gets a judgement against her and has to cover the legal fees for the entire defendant population.
