Was the attack currently ongoing as he was eating? Was there anything he could have done to help had he immediately stopped eating? No? Then let the man eat his delicious eel rice. 😤
based on just the article, i don’t know what to make of this story. sounds like the attack already happened, so it’s not like he could have done anything while he was about to eat.
but the article also sounds like he went out of his way to let the opposition know that he “made sure to eat the bowl of eel rice” upon hearing the news, which is kind of a weird move. like “yo guys, hey, remember the attack last month? well i need you to know that i continued to eat some eel over rice right after i heard about it.”
i dunno know, maybe animes weren’t exaggerating as much as i thought they were. it’s late here, feel free to enlighten me on what i’m missing.
