    It used to be normal to use human skeletons to teach anatomy. Then they were replaced by replicas. Someone probably inherited a real skull and thought “This replica skull looks so realistic, I bet I can get $10 for it at the thrift store.”

    For all of Florida’s faults, they have 10/10 thrift stores and antique markets. I can’t find anything more valuable than startrek TNG merch down here in New England.
