Why is this on this sub? Germany is almost painfully afraid of anti-semitism happening in their country. This is not shocking or potentially satirical.

I wouldn’t want anyone as a US citizen who didn’t recognize one of our allies’ right to exist.

Hopefully other countries follow their example.

Antisemitism is raging all over the world.

And I thought it was bad when teachers weren’t allowed to criticize Israels facism in the US and now this? I can only assume conservatives will try to apply this hard to keep muslims out and even deport some.

I would of started with flat earthers having to recognize a spherical planet vs. a political stance like accepting the creation of the Israeli state in 1948. Stay classy Germany.

For a country with a unique of a history as Germany has around this topic, I can somewhat understand it. The point isn’t to keep out Muslims, it’s too stamp out any nazi presence they still have in Germany. And again, with a culture that is still paying for what they did two generations ago, from their viewpoint I can understand it

Kind of ironic that Germany is so preoccupied with living down their Nazi legacy that they’ve looped right back to supporting another fascist regime’s blatant ethnic cleansing

    This is extremely disappointing.
