As someone in teaching and in Florida, we looked at this test to figure out how to better prepare students for it.
There’s no actual theological component to it–as in, no questions on religion as the subject matter–but the test makes it clear that religious thinkers are among the authors they’ll occasionally have reading passages from. Still, the test also includes passages from the likes of Darwin (evolution often being the center of anti-religion debates) and contemporary/secular authors.
I am no fan of Desantis and his trumpeting culture war nonsense, but this test is far from a Christian test. It’s IMO worse than the SAT or ACT, but not for the reasons in the headline
