“I got to go back to Ireland for the, for the, the Irish Accords, to make sure they weren’t, the Brits didn’t screw around and Northern Ireland didn’t walk away from their commitments.”
For those who don’t read, the visit was regarding the 25th anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement and the impact that Brexit and post-Brexit deals with the EU have affected North Ireland.
And while yeah, the US should not be playing world police, you do have to admit that the UK historically hasn’t been too kind towards the Irish.
Let’s be clear, Biden did absolutely nothing to help get power sharing started again. If he did he would have reached out to the loyalists to find a compromise instead of spending 4 days in Ireland taking all the praise because he’s got an Irish granny.
His presence hindered any dialogue and only helped push his twisted view of the NI issue. He still doesn’t understand Ireland and the Northern Ireland issue.
Now he’s trying to claimed he achieved something instead of made it worse.
Honestly seems like dementia to me. He has good days like the speech that made our Prime Minister look incompetent, and then he has really bad days like this one. The stutter is something I didn’t even know he had, though, so props to him for working through that. Can’t be easy.
Had to come back and add our Prime Minister is already incompetent, Biden made him look even worse. Always been Centrist, but damn it’s hard to justify voting for a frat bro.

Probably not the most diplomatic statement. Biden is half senile though so I wouldn’t read much into it.
