The GOP is marching head-first into fascism and their supporters don’t care.
The GOP is becoming the kind of tyrannical government the second amendment is meant to protect America from and those that claim they need their guns to protect America from a tyrannical government don’t care.
That place sounds like a shithole. A red GOP shithole where bullshit is always the main policy that needs tackling. Any BS but what truly matters and would help it’s constituents.
I wonder if they’ve considered where this line of thinking will lead them. What will be next to satiate their desire for perceived purity of thought and action? And after that?
What’s their road map to a purified county going to look like?
Not just Texas either. Missouri State House republicans on the budget vote just voted yesterday to entirely defund ALL libraries in the state (and childcare and other helpful programs). Hopefully it doesn’t go through, but it looks like it will.
When an educated populace sees through your bullshit, they get rid of education.
