“The participation trophy: On its own, it’s a harmless trinket for six-year-olds. But it’s become a caricature for the Millennial stereotype, symbolizing a generation some believe to be so coddled that merely showing up is grounds for an accolade”
Dude woke up and choose violence against millennials 😂
Thank goodness. The effects of participation trophies on the day to day life of the average American was making it practically impossible to persevere. /s
We had participation trophies in NC in the 70s and 80s, back when people were supposedly still tough and cool. And it was nice to have a little trophy to represent the team you played on, whether you were mvp or or your team won the championship or not. Shit you spent a lot of time and effort doing it. I had a whole shelf of trophies, some were for winning and some weren’t and no one cared
Things like this make me wonder if the famously stupid laws that are still on the books in most places came from similar periods of hysterical dumbening.
Illegal to dry your dishes by any means other than drip-drying? Can’t have immigrants using towels on their clean dishes…, etc.

It is not the role of state government to micro-manage the activities of free, voluntary associations. De Tocqueville would be appalled.
I guess this state senator really wants a ride on the anti-woke bandwagon.
