My wife got a text today that said something along the lines of:

“You were gifted a $100 gift card to Starbucks! Click here to retrieve your gift.”

It’s an obvious scam, but you should knowTM

Beware of this ATM scam

hedemboi: Your hyperlink doesn’t work, I want to claim my Starbucks gift card.

Demolisher314: On mobile the surprise is ruined

Sahmapunk: You evil man.

That doesn’t link to a Starbuck’s card…

zkool: Also do not click on any Amazon offers directly from your email.

testicularfluids: I got the same email but it was trying to convince me that I got a gift card from amazon. What immediately gave it away was that the sub for the email had incorrect grammar. Amazon doesn’t make those mistakes in something as simple as email. I keep getting different variations of the same email now.

777777777-7777777777: ha. i got one saying my free gift from walmart prime was waiting. i didn’t even know walmart got into the prime game.

appropriate-username: The link is to that facemask football pic.
