New fear unlocked
When one of my daughters was young, she was messing with super glue and accidentally glued her eye shut. We had to take her to the emergency room because I didn’t know what to do. They got her fixed up.
I really want to see a picture of those two bottles side by side.
I’ve used tons of different types of nail glue and none have looked like eye drops *at all* so I’m curious what she had.
I was ready to believe that this was a headline doing a disservice to someone sick, elderly or otherwise impaired.
> The mix-up occurred after she gave her daughter a manicure and left the glue bottle, which was identical in size and color to the eyedrops on the same dresser
The danger of superglue is underestimated by children and unexperienced adults. Don’t blame the victims, blame our education.
Did not see that coming
Wait… again? Did this happen once last year?
Oh great, another thing to worry about!
It just goes to show that if something is possible, no matter how improbable, it will happen eventually.
Haha, that’s one way to keep your eye on the prize!
I knew a guy who confused his eyedrops with a dropper of rubbing alcohol he’d used to de-ice a frozen lock.
He was fine, after lying on the floor writhing for bit.
This is why I don’t have nail glue
Oh great, another thing to add to my list of irrational fears.
