This is what click baiting does to people who don’t know any better.
I don’t know if it’s a purposeful.push, or if algorithms just happen to help narrow an individual’s view. But, one thing every ethnicity and each religion has in common, the media has them believing we are ALL under attack.
When in reality, it’s just a handful of obnoxious people saying dumb shit, like the broad in this article, and various media using clickbait tactics.
They want your attention, they do ANYTHING to get it.
I get what she’s saying, and I agree, but maybe call it something other than “whiteness.”
She’s right about the imperiousness of a white cultural standard, but co-opting the term “whiteness” to assign a negative connotation to it is insensitive.
Having the characteristic of being white doesn’t doom a person to harboring this unjust cultural standards attitude she mentions. The problem she talks about is a problem, but isn’t just being white that causes it.
It’s people like her that are the primary reason for the election of Republicans and the rise of Trump.
These politicians tell white people they are under attack, including their white children at the public school their hard earned tax dollars pay for.
And this woman proves them right.
Edit: I think people misunderstand that I’m not happy about this. It’s just true. It’s not that Republicans make this stuff up. It’s that they cherry pick a story here and a story there to make it look more pervasive than it is.

It was on her personal Twitter feed … but still. Not a good look and she needs to resign.

I have just one question, that the article does not state. Is the school board member a person of color?

Now next time I see my dad I get to hear him rant about this like its some widespread issue and core democrat policy.
