The words “livestock” and “comfort animals” do not belong in the same sentence. Anyone who says they do is trying to sell you on the idea of cleaning manure for free.

More info: a sheep charged at and repeatedly rammed her, causing her to have a heart attack.
This is extremely rare. Rams can be known to become aggressive, but fatal attacks are fewer than 5 annually.
She was feeding the animals at 9AM at the end of the sheep breeding season (October to November). It’s likely that the combination of food and hormones factored into this level of aggression.
The farm and authorities have not yet decided what to do with the animal.
