Similar to those people who think they are traveling to Vancouver B.C. and get surprized when they end up in Vancouver, WA. And let’s not even mention Vancouver Island.
One would have thought he would have realized at the gate in Billings, MT when his 15 hour Pacific crossing was to be on a tiny 9-passenger P2012 prop plane (the only route/airline/aircraft to/from Sidney).
There was a story some time ago of somebody finding a cheap fare to Las Vegas from Birmingham. Only problem was they were in Birmingham, UK, while the flight was from Birmingham, Alabama.
From our then-home a bit north of San Francisco, we flew to Fairbanks Alaska but our luggage was shipped to Fairbanks Arizona (near Tombstone). Baggage check-in error, by the clerk, not us.
This was in a November so we had to buy warm clothes for Alaska. Our suitcases finally reached us… ripped open, torn to crap. But at least neither we nor our stuff landed in Australia. Whew.
ProTip:: When visiting Oz, voluntarily or otherwise, be sure to obtain a coin purse made from a wallaby scrotum. Get-em for your friends. Well, they were your friends before you gave them these. So be prudent. 😎

So this man ends up in Montana just as the spy balloon was passing over. A likely coincidence!
