Icyrow: >His son eventually asked one of the gamers why they kept targeting him.
I swear from everything i read about hitmen in real life and in games, they fail and often tell the person they’re targeting why they’re targeting them.
though i suppose the good hitmen you never hear anything about…
twominitsturkish: How do you kill that which has no life??
AltairEgos: Digital hitman. Sign me the fu*k up!
fiveminded: All the dads on Reddit with gamer-kids are now Googling online hitmen.
GoodnightElizabeth: Downvoted. (your dad hired me to do this, sorry)
godhatesfigs69: So this must be why I always get sniped in Battlefield, thanks dad!
nerbovig: That could also induce some serious paranoia. It turns out there really are people out to get him wherever he turns online.
trkoiz: Jeez that title got super dark and then way lighter in 0.7 seconds
Revenge_of_the_User: the irony being the dad was actively contributing to people whose jobs are playing video games, in an attempt at getting his son to quit gaming to get a job.
What a world we live in.
Le4chanFTW: That son’s name? John Wick.
Scrappy_Larue: I’ve got a son who I thought played too much, all the way through college. Now he’s very well employed in the gaming industry.
lionkin: >I’ve come across very excessive players – playing for 10 to 14 hours a day – but for a lot of these people it causes no detrimental problems if they are not employed, aren’t in relationships and don’t have children.
A lot of people would probably consider those detrimental problems for someone in their mid-20’s.
semiomni: Eh, just skip Tarren Mill when leveling.
logicalsilly: I for one have experienced target killing in game.back in 2006 I was in to counter strike , and I mostly joined one of my 3 favorite servers. I got into a fight with the admin. And next day onwards, I was constantly attacked by groups in a suicidal way. I would take out 1 or 2 , and die. When I started anticipating groups to attack me, I could not even kill 1 anymore. Too much stress. I left those servers and lost many friends as a result. I tried other servers, but it was never the same. I was sad to leave CS . But now when I look back. That was the best thing to happen .
dw_jb: Was that you dad who had me pk-ed so many times?
Raspberries-Are-Evil: I mean, or, and I’m just putting this out there, you could stop paying for his rent and food, or take away the video games…
ThatThrowaway29986: Now what if he just wiped the fucking floor with the digital hitmen? Lol
Lokotor: plot twist, the son develops incredible skill at the game from always being targeted and having to fight back and goes on to become one of the top pro players
JavierThrash117: My god I’ve seen this TIL so many times I’m surprised it isn’t taught in schools.
NeuroPsychotic: Then he started playing Tetris.
DALIL3ZI0: From the picture it looks like he’s playing Counter Strike. How do you target someone like that in CS??
raskidaski: Being a hitman is hard when the victim keeps respawning, as proven in the story the victim usually gets kind of curious.
swagismycounter: I see this post like every month lol
-iamverysmart-: > His son eventually asked one of the gamers why they kept targeting him.
Yikes!
rec0d3: Lmao that’s gold.
cafeaua: Diehard. CSGO edition.
STBadly: Dad’s the ultimate griefer.
eatadickcunt: >Singleplayer
I_might_be_weasel: And now he knows you can get paid to play video games…
butkaf: I wish someone would hire an online assassin to stop this from getting reposted for the 1000th time
vagabond_chef: That’s brilliant.
Kriecht: Some people on China also get paid to play your games for you.
OilEndsYouEnd: Is the dad familiar with the concept of, “respawning?”
jiggel_x: this reminds me of forsens ZULUL warriors
RudegarWithFunnyHat: for how long did he corpse camp him ?
obi2kanobi: I could only imagine a hitman going after my boy. Like, good luck with that. (His college grades are just fine)
protag93: So in China there’s a job for being a professional Troll/gaming hitman LOL.
brendanjeffrey: Thanks Obama!
CtrlAltVictory: Hiring people to troll your son. Next level parenting
Xylus1985: >I’ve come across very excessive players – playing for 10 to 14 hours a day – but for a lot of these people it causes no detrimental problems if they are not employed, aren’t in relationships and don’t have children.
Is this guy serious? These are the detrimental problems
atheistman69: TIL enough people haven’t seen this the other 200 times in the past year it’s been posted and upvoted a tired repost.
rosesniffer: Seems like that will just mean he has to spend more time playing video games because his dad is delaying his progress.
DwasTV: i’m pretty sure this was for WoW
Jorogasm: [Did a video on this a little while back, didn’t get much traction haha](https://youtu.be/HCQFBfeSjQc)
send420nudes: Plot twist: His son got targetted so much that he became a pro gamer
Vaktrus: That’s a little ironic, no?
Dr_Piss_Flaps: aren’t they allowed to beat their kids in china? why didn’t he just do that?
spacefairies: Would have been funny if the kid ended up killing himself because of the bullying in game.
Beckels84: That’s kind of next level badass parenting, lol.
