Yeah, fuck having basic food safety and farming standards, let’s just tell people not to eat… 🤦

Raw egg is safe if the farmers actually do their job properly.

Dammit I wasn’t thinking about eating raw cookie dough until they brought it up just now

I made my first hollandaise sauce the other day. It tasted like metal, so I was sure I’d get sick. Turns out I just over-whisked it in the metal pot. Raw flour is actually way more dangerous than raw egg, so big pass on the raw cookie dough.

I wonder if the people who works for the CDC started working there to make a difference, but most of the time they have to stop advancing on science because they need to remind adults to wash their hands and not eat raw cookie dough?

They were probably told that this would happen on the first day of the job. “Hey, just so you know, your job will mostly consist of telling adults things they should’ve known by kindergarten.”

Just cook your flour before you make your cookie dough. It takes like 5 minutes.
