Fascist ouster of political opponents who were duly elected to represent the will of their constituents. Republicans went from crying about Biden’s “semi-fascist” comment just a couple months ago to going full-throttle post-weimar nazism real quick. Insane that this is all right-wing ideology is now in America.
It’s so heartening that these lawmakers are so quick to pass motions for the real problems…like people protesting kids being shot in schools….those bastards.
Two things are for certain, because the spin doctors are all over this sub today- 1) they took part in a protest, and there was nothing similar between it and the January 6th insurrection other than that they both took place in Capitol buildings, and 2) this is inherently hypocritical from the party who demanded no consequences for politicians who participated in January 6th.
The Republicans have gone mask off on fascism. They will find a reason to expel their political opponents if they are given enough power to do so. They have shown they no longer deserve to be in power, and deserve a lot of things you cannot say without getting banned.
Wait, so you are telling me if I storm into work with a mob and start shouting through my bullhorn during a staff meeting, I can get fired? Their congress sets basic rules of decorum while they are in session. Disruptive behavior like shouting through a bullhorn and preventing any regular agenda to take place as it turns out is against their agreed upon rules. I leave it to the people of Tennessee as it’s a state level matter, but the outrage seems unwarranted.
This entire affair is authentic as professional wrestling. People that are taking this at face value are rubes. The lawmakers on both sides of the aisle are laughing their asses off behind closed doors. Nether side has had their side this fired up and contributing as much cash in years.

The dude compared an anti gun protest over the shooting of children to an attack on our democracy over fraudulent election claims. Bunch of clowns.

In what way is this oniony?

Doesn’t this violate the Constitution? How can this possibly be legal?

Democrats didn’t kill enough cops for Republicans to feel this was a peaceful protest like Jan 6th.

I guess in order to be a good TN politician you must be for killing school kids…
Just sad

Well, that’s a terrifying precedent.

Well, Tennessee better vote him the hell back in. Why aren’t there protests (like in Europe & Israel) as these bastards rape democracy?
