   I can if someone talks me through setting the autopilot and auto land.

   Commercial planes can take off, fly and land themselves.

   If I’m ever in a situation where I’m expected to land a commercial aircraft, I hope all the way down I feel like I can land it. It’s the only way I would have a chance to.

   If you can figure out how to make contact with anyone on the aviation band, you can land a commercial airliner. Landing a twin Lear is much harder than a 747.

    I can absolutely land a commercial b page if someone is talking me through it.

    That’s a testament to the skills of the ATC and designers of modern commercial planes, not me.

    [WaPo tested it](https://www.washingtonpost.com/travel/2023/05/20/passengers-try-landing-plane-flight-simulator/). 2 out of 3 times, landing succeeded.

    I’ve seen a commercial plane’s cockpit. There is no friggin’ way I could land one of those without help. Nuh uh.
