Superintendent to recommend review of After School Satan Club’s use of facility at Northampton County middle school following threat that closed schools
The Satanic Temple is a legitimate (awesome) religious organization. Either all religious clubs are allowed at a school or none are.
Parents have to give permission for their kids to attend. It’s a non issue. They want to police what religion everyone else is allowed to follow and apparently they’re winning.
“There are so many parents who cannot make the same choice that I’m making, and if we don’t speak up for this type of outlandish disregard to those of us who do have Judeo-Christian values, then when is it going to stop?”
Someone is upset that the satanic club doesn’t reflect Christian values. When will these people realize that Christianity is one of many religions that is no more or less credible than the others.
Or, instead of blaming the target of the threat, and hear me out because this is gonna sound crazy, how about blaming the christians who are making the threats?
>In light of the threat and the disruption the threat caused to the district, the superintendent says, she will be recommending a full review of the club’s use of the district’s facility.
That’s the “We don’t negotiate with terrorists” spirit we’ve come to expect

Perhaps they need to review ALL of the after school clubs and get rid of any that promote any kind of religion.

Them: Religion in schools!
Satan: Hold my beer.
Them: Not *that* religion!
Satan: You wrote the law.
Them: (Threats of violence in a place where children are present.)

Didn’t Christians rape/murder a million plus kids last century alone and try to cover most of it up to protect the organization and its criminals?
The school should really review those values since they let those groups use their facilities.
(Hint: yes they did)
