Rep. Jim Jordan criticized online after saying ‘only Americans should vote in American elections’ | Category: General Source
What about the dogs and cats folks? Jim Jordan hates dogs and cats!
Is that statement *why* he was criticized? I bet not! 🙄
Did anyone ever bother to tell him that Americans already are the only ones allowed to vote in American elections?
You think he knows Mexicans and Canadians are Americans?!?
As are Panamanians, Brazilians, Colombians, Ecuadorians, Uruguayans…
And here i was, making bank renting out hundreds of Swedes to politicians looking for extra votes at election times
Did he disqualify himself ?
It’s actually an interesting debate. Or, it would be if Gym Jordan wasn’t involved in it. He’s allergic to good faith.
The point is lettering everyone in a community vote in local elections for school board and things of that nature, since everyone living in the area has a valid opinion on the matter even if they are here on a visa or whatever.
Again though, Jordan is oversimplifying and distorting the discussion to prey on his intellectual lightweight supporters (kind of like how he protected child molesters at Ohio State).
and I criticize Jim Jordan saying that if you see child molestation you should absolutely step in and stop it like it’s your duty as an adult.
you shouldn’t pretend like it’s okay that your boss rapes children just because he’s your boss.
I have no problem with community members voting for local initiatives, even if they aren’t formal citizens. Democracy improves with participation.
As a representative of the government that has interfered with more the election process in more countries than any other I find this to be very hypocritical.
He meant only white people….
But having a First Lady born in a Socialist country is OK, right Jim.
Or a Texas Senator born in Canada, that is also OK.
Well, as long as they are white and Republican.
