Since the owners’ children are grown, when I was walking by the sheep farm the other day, I was surprised to hear young children playing and assumed a school group was there. The lambs proved to be what it was.
Goats and sheep occasionally make *eerily* human-like noises.

LOL Sometimes I experience this. One of our goats has decided to scream instead of doing the wavering “meh-e-eh” instead.
If we have visitors over, they might assume one of the children has hurt themselves, but it’s really just my obnoxious goat who is unable to bleat.
