Never heard of Pickleball before today, but the article noted the trend of places to “do” a thing rather than “buy” a thing. It makes sense. I don’t need my mall to have thirty different versions of clothing stores, but if I can go and spend an afternoon with my friends doing something fun (that isn’t just walking between racks looking at shirts and shoes) then I’m game.
