I’m actually pro-generational framing but not in the way it has been used. It’s a great indicator- “Millenials aren’t buying this or that” serves as an economic indicator that young people weren’t getting secure incomes despite entering the work force.
Stuff like that, but instead it was framed as, “lazy Millenials *destroy* another industry.”
What, did they finally realize they may need support from their favourite generational punching bags when their current followers die off? Can’t imagine why people who regularly get shit-talked and scape-goated by these kinds of institutes would have no interest in supporting them.
