Well that is upmost salary in the range so no, the new hire won’t be making that. They will have to completely forgo having a family and will have to entertain the worst, most privileged, assholes in the air, so I bet every penny will be well earned.

Ah, a perfectly normal thing to spend money on from a company that’s not at all in any kind of trouble with the popularity of its products. I give ’em three years before they either bring in new management for a total overhaul or get bought out for pennies on the dollar. You can live it up all you want, but if you keep on losing money the market will spit you out in an instant.
