    Why is this here?

Because even fictional characters have better listening skills than Michael Wood.

Are you sure this is from The Beaverton?

Hell no, that would be like asking my child to empty the dishwasher.

How can I possibly be expected to do it when you only asked me eight times?

  6. Simple_bodies says

Is it analogous to continuously pressing the snooze button?

All this subterfuge over $13k? Is this guy one of the poors too?

  8. OkReflection4264 says

Because apparently, even Michael Wood can’t keep track of Michael Wood’s responses!

  9. Mysticpoisen says

    >Wood said he didn’t feel good about the situation with the shares. “It’s been a very difficult exercise for me, but I take responsibility for it.”

    >”This is something I lost sight of. I have a very large job. I work 80 to 90-hour weeks. Some of these things in my life administration, I have let slip. I shouldn’t have.”

    >He denied that him holding shares had any impact on any decisions he has made as a minister.

    >In Parliament, Hipkins said Wood was asked by the Cabinet Office about whether he had divested the shares on “the 19th of November, 2020; 9th and 14th of December, 2020; 24th of March, 2021; 30 June, 2021; 17 December, 2021; 1st of March, 2022; 28th of March, 2022; 4th of May, 2022; 16th of January 2023; 6th of March, 2023 and 27th of March, 2023”.

Yep, clearly just slipped between the cracks. Definitely didn’t have a huge chunk of money tied up in it while people consistently hounded you to do it over the course of three fucking years.
