    This is unironically likely the more humane execution method compared to lethal injection, we already did the research proving this.

    Even then, somehow hanging and guillotine are somehow considered the most humane execution methods, we have somehow been making our executions more cruel over time.

    I’d rather be shot than given the chair (look up botched chair executions, green mile was pretty on the mark) or lethal injection or gas chamber. Hit me in the heart with a .308. Does the job.

    I still don’t understand why they don’t just use certain gases like nitrogen (as mentioned in the article) or perhaps carbon monoxide. Without the buildup of CO2, your body has no idea that its suffocating. You just pass out with zero pain or discomfort

    Lethal injections, electric chairs and firing squads are not 100% effective and can cause suffering even if it is short lived. I don’t understand the insistence on using any of them
