One of the things I usually do if I am at a dinner and I’m not particularly hungry, is ask whoever is serving if they can give me a smaller portion so I don’t waste any. This works surprisingly well at restaurants too.
I’ve been on a calorie restriction for a few months, nothing to do with ozempic, just at an unhealthy weight and trying to change that. And I can say for certain, the worst part is managing other people’s expectations. The hunger, the lack of energy, the moodiness, that gets better and I can handle it. But the offended look when my wife gives me a big serving and I eat half, or when out with friends and I get the side eye for only having one drink or turning down food. That’s rough and it doesn’t get better.
I dislike the attitude of the article. Doing what you feel is best for your health or lifestyle is important. Manners much less so. If someone thinks you are rude for not eating something, that is their problem, not yours.

So…people are taking diabetes medicine to lose weight? I’ve never even heard of this
