The very act of someone calling a 16 year old “un-fuckable” implies that there are, in fact, 16 year olds they find “fuckable.” Like, presumably whoever *was* cast was a teenager the director or producer wanted to fuck.
Without knowing the role it’s hard to say how upset one should feel.
Clearly we should be somewhat upset. It’s not a nice thing to say. But should we be *furious* upset or *seriously offended* upset or just *put-off* upset…
Was she supposed to be playing a 16yo in the film?
Or was she applying for the role of an 18yo?
Or was it a “movie 16yo” where the actress is 24+? Especially if the character has sex during the movie in a way that is supposed to be hot and not creepy.
Most I wonder if it was because she was a child actress and the casting people couldn’t NOT see her as a child still.
I know that I’ll never be able to find her sexy (ditto Emma Watson and Chloë Grace Moretz) because I was an adult when I first saw her in a movie and she was so young. It would seem *super* uncomfortable watching her in a sexy role.
Apart from the hair color, am I the only one that thinks **Ell Fanning** and **Maggie Rogers** look alike. In some pictures they look like twins to me.
