As someone who grew up on Eddie Van Halen and also had to deal with the rise of Limp Bizkit, I completely understand. Eddie was just trying to protect rock and roll.

In the very early days my cousin (who owned a van -not the middle kind-) drove and roadied Van Halen to gigs in the greater LA area. I didn’t find out until many years later. Cool story.
