The key is not to care about your career.
And then they ask “WHY AREN’T YOUNG PEOPLE HAVING KIDS?!”
Then fuck my career. I’d rather be with my children and be happy
Disconnecting to spend time with your kids, will make you a better parent and could save your life. I prefer that headline.
This isn’t “Oniony” though – it’s obvious. Of course if you spend less time working and more time doing anything else you’ve less chance of career advancement. Companies want people who make work their number one, during work hours and beyond.
