Every single Air Canada crew and staff present at the time should have acted as an advocate for the passenger instead of being a heartless bystander/bully. ‘One time departure’ shouldn’t come at the cost of human decency. Polite words fail me.
> “It took us struggling, in front of a dozen people as some looked away and others looked on with shame, to get him off that plane … he hurt his legs and I hurt my back – emotionally a lot more was hurt … my husband’s human rights were trampled on and Air Canada won’t respond to us, and never did reach out like they promised,”
Poor guy, and the airline is 100% on the hook for this, but his wife had to carry him while he monkey climbed across the seats while others looked on? People seriously couldn’t have stepped in and helped these poor people?

>Disabled man drags himself off plane after Air Canada fails to offer wheelchair
Oof. Guess that’s why they’re not called Chair Canada.

He should’ve stayed on the plane, he shouldn’t be forced to have done, the police should’ve done it.

That man should have stayed put until the police, TSA, or Air Marshalls showed up.
By voluntarily dragging himself off with help from his wife he made it harder to go after them in court.
He needs to sue the pants off of Air Canada as this is unbelievable.
“I can’t walk”
AC – “Better learn to fly or crawl then”

Like WTF is this. I expect that on Spirit, not AirCanada.

Let’s not forget AirCanada also left our [Chief Accessibility Officer](https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/air-canada-lost-wheelchair-cadieux-1.7005429) (of Canadas) wheelchair behind too.
Air Canada is a disgrace such a bad flag carrier.
