I got suspended for drawing dicks on the pictures in my math textbook in the fifth grade. Was supposed to be devil tails but this ancient ass teacher called my grandma and told her I was “defacing school property with erections”
Yup, that’s Piggie from the Piggie and Elephant books. Totally normal for a five or six year old to be drawing. Those books are widely enjoyed by kids ages pre-K to grade 2 (and older).
Oh, wait, the daughter in this case is 11-years-old.
She’s in grade 6. She’s had a couple years of sex education. And old enough to draw either a bowtie *or* a straight tie **and** colour it a different colour.
It feels pretty unlikely this was accidental.
But it does depend on the child. If this was a more naive and innocent kid, the teacher and admin would should know her after six or seven years at their school and brush it off. Escalating it and adding it to their permanent record feels like they’ve had problems before.

The people who confiscated that drawing should be written up for having such a degenerate mind and for bullying a child.

I mean, yes, you can make that argument, but come on. The rest of the drawing should tell you that that is clearly a bowtie.
I mean, really guys?

So according to the school, a piggy’s dick hangs from its neck? Some teachers have dirty minds.
