So a hole in the middle of the road is a feature, not a bug?
In my town you’d be fined for doing this.
The utility company was supposed to fill it 2 months earlier but they showed up the day after he patched it.
I keep seeing headlines implying he made a mistake. He didn’t. They left a stupid hole in the road for weeks.
Pothole or “service trench” it makes no difference.
Since when is a _trench_ in the road preferable to a _pothole_?
It was a trench that was no longer in use. “They had covered the trench with temporary asphalt that was to be replaced with a permanent surface…” But people still had to drive over it, so he got it fixed sooner rather than later.
This “trench rather than a pothole” article makes it sound like Saint Arnold is stupid or something. It doesn’t change his actions whatsoever.
If they didn’t cover it, it was a pothole.
I mean, I don’t actually give a shit but if the work wasn’t finished, it was a utility trench
