This is one of the worst offending against a child I’ve ever come across. He started having sexual intercoursr with her at 13, and it went on for seven long years.
She’s 20 when it stopped. And she’s now able to cry for justice.
How did he do it? He threatened to commit suicide every time she tried to stop his abuse. He’s an animal.
This is so important, especially in regards to victims rights. His suicide threats were enough because she loves her father, or at least would have felt responsible for his death. People need to understand the complex feelings that develop as a result not even of the abuse necessarily but usually the grooming process and relationship outside of the abuse. Thinking of Florida and their new capital punishment CSA and I just know more than even children are being silenced by the threat of responsibility for their abusers lives.
