The bear they caught attacked 2 hikers in 2020 and was set to be put down, instead they fitted with a collar to track it…then the battery died on the collar.
They caught it again in the area after the death of a hiker, but forensic evidence says the teeth marks on the dead jogger can’t belong to the bear they caught who still may get put down.
