The way that 4th paragraph reads, it’s like you aren’t transphobic unless someone takes you to court and it’s ruled that you’re a transphobe? Or do they just not use thing like her own words as expressions of her thoughts and ideas?
Is this website run by a 15 year-old? It is ruddled with spelling errors, including the ads; and the content is just laughable. They claim that Rowling was never proven to be transphobic when she self-describes as a TERF. What more do you want? Her running around reversing gender re-assignment surgeries on the streets?
Who’s willing to bet that the outlets that refuse to cover “Hogwars Legacy” because of “transphobia” will have no issue covering “Atomic Heart” that is made by a Russian studio that refuses to condemn the invasion of Ukraine and is financed by companies with deep ties to Kremlin? And will totally ignore how any purchases of Atomic heart will finance the war in Ukraine since the studio is based in Russia? As in every copy will contribute to the bullets that will kill civilians? And bombs that will destroy residential buildings? And pay for the wagner mercenaries that hack apart children with axes?
But the author of the IP this game uses happened to make some transphobic tweets and that is clearly much worse. /s
People are trying to cancel a game because the game uses the IP of someone who has made some controversial comments in the past? In other words, there is nothing wrong with the game itself, it’s just people are trying to do some sort of second/third-order canceling?
Yeah, I can play this game guilt free! Is it on steam?
Has Rowling really said anything actually transphobic? Whenever I see articles about it- it’s never her being hateful to trans community, but stating her opinions about gender and sex.
The tweet that supposedly outed her as phobic-
“If sex isn’t real, there’s no same-sex attraction. If sex isn’t real, the lived reality of women globally is erased. I know and love trans people, but erasing the concept of sex removes the ability of many to meaningfully discuss their lives. It isn’t hate to speak the truth,” she tweeted. “The idea that women like me, who’ve been empathetic to trans people for decades, feeling kinship because they’re vulnerable in the same way as women—i.e., to male violence—‘hate’ trans people because they think sex is real and has lived consequences—is a nonsense.”
She continued, “I respect every trans person’s right to live any way that feels authentic and comfortable to them. I’d march with you if you were discriminated against on the basis of being trans. At the same time, my life has been shaped by being female. I do not believe it’s hateful to say so.”
Are we saying that her stating that her life has been shaped by her sex- translates to her being transphobic? I am genuinely curious as to how this is transphobia?

JKR’s PR people are pushing this article HARD. Considering her “Merry Terfmass” tweet I’m not really seeing what hasn’t been proven…

“This was not challenged by the presenter despite the fact that it has never been proven that Ms Rowling has said anything transphobic in her career.”
Didn’t she say it herself that she was anti-trans though?
This article is honestly not good journalism.

Facts must be apologized for. Just ask anyone in the Labour party that says anything mildly negative about the fascists running Israel these days.

Rowling is a transphobe who, iirc, has sided with white supremacists if they also shit on the trans.

Well, technically, it’s not Transphobia unless it was produced in the Transphobe region in France. Otherwise, it’s just sparkling boomer bigotry.
