Fecal transplants are a legit and powerful treatment for people with bowel issues, like C. Diff infections, Crohn’s and Ulcerative colitis, etc. Helpful when someone’s been so sick they need to take a LOT of powerful antibiotics and their intestinal biome is killed off, leaving them open to opportunistic infections.
Getting some folks to take transferring poo seriously is challenging enough. It’s not helpful when Whackadoo, MD wants to use it to cure everything.
