Dang it is so strange to me how many people are saying things to the effect of “it’s ok because he was a republican”. Like what the poop? Just saying that this person doesn’t deserve basic human respect because they have different beliefs?
We should all get our own Medical Consult letters, I have discovered so many errors, whether on purpose or mixed up with another patient. If you never get to read those documents how do you know.
I always go begging and get a hard time, it takes months to get the records.
Wouldn’t that classify as discriminate profiling? I know the healthcare system has gotten in trouble for doing that to First Nation people too in Canada. Is it really hard for people to just treat others as people instead of generalizing them and putting them into labeled box based on appearance or assumed class. Very unprofessional.
My wife is switching doctors and got all her paper records from her old doctor. She was reading through comments from other doctors and specialists refer her as “pleasant” and “very pleasant”, so much she’s wondering if it’s some sort of code.
We went together to a fertility clinic where it said “I met with very pleasant M and her morbidly obese husband”.

But… is it accurate?

It’s a medical term.

I think we can all guess the kinds of things this guy was saying to his physiotherapist that they would make this kind of comment on his file.

For those not reading, the file has worse comments than that:
>”uneducated massive redneck p—y,” and claimed he was “playing the system.”

On the one hand, it seems pretty unprofessional to include in his records, especially ones passed to other practitioners.
On the other hand, having dealt with a lot of customers there’s a lot of less than kind things I was tempted to add to their accounts.
This was very likely it was meant to be a private warning for other people in immediate contact after putting up with exhausting bullshit.

They said that to him at a dinner!

Notes were by a physiotherapist, not a doctor (for those interested).
