This community was built without water services. They were not cut off. Scottsdale is stopping selling them water due to their own drought, they can buy anywhere else they want.

This ‘town’ is a collection of high-priced homes that were deliberately built outside town limits so that they’d not be subjected to local taxes that cover, among other things, the cost of water utilities.

So, now that there’s a massive drought going on, the free-loaders have had their tax-free water cut off.

    Fuck em.

I hope Scottsdale doesn’t relent. Giving in would only spawn more houses in that area.

That only works if it rains. They’re in the Valley of the Sun, which got that name for a reason.

This is just another example of the government not being able to properly take care of its citizens.

Knowing the water quality in the USA. Drinking rainwater will be better for you then tapwater. So flushing with rainwater is quite a shame.

So the climate migrations in the US are about to begin? This will get ugly sooner rather than later.

Love that line towards the end “including the use of a private water company to haul water”. I’m guessing a GOP donor needs an influx of money.
