“Favreing” will be a verb in the not so distant future for blatant misappropriation of federal funding

As a tech hiring manager in Birmingham, you know what would also be awesome? Funding education in STEM, programming, product design, etc. I’m often forced to hire remote employees out of state, because there just aren’t enough qualified folks in the area. It sure would be nice to keep those high paying jobs IN the state.

But maybe I’m wrong. Maybe ‘ol Kay sees something I don’t. Maybe the global economy is going to shift from technology being the major engine of growth. Maybe to water park magnates will soon rule the world and we’ll all tube to work.
