Bad cops so rarely suffer consequences for their actions. The Uvalde incident may have been the greatest failure of law enforcement in the last 120 years. I doubt anyone will ever be held accountable for the complete failures of that day.
I’d be willing to bet that cop is either related to someone higher up in the department or has some juicy dirt on someone up the chain of command (or both). The system need to be scrapped and rebuilt. Policing in this country is corrupt the core.
