I had a co-worker with Crohn’s and it was brutal and seemingly kicked in without rhyme or reason. She had long periods where she was fine and then she was just not. None of the treatments really worked for her. I totally understand why people might go the DIY route if no treatment available to them works.
Fecal transplants probably have a lot of untapped potential still.
